Burdens Removed, Able To Dream

After years of my being on Damage Control with my children after the sudden crumbling of their home, followed by years of struggling financially to help finance their educations, my daughter Lindsay is today getting paid to pursue her Ph.D in Public Economic Policy at Rand University in Santa Monica. My son is being paid to go to school in San Diego, where he is completing his Masters Degree in mechanical engineering.
Hope this doesn't sound like bragging. It is for me, one more dream come true, a basic one which gives me the emotional and financial space to focus on my own dreams.

Searching for Others With Passion

A Giving RN

My amazing dreamer is a person who gives so much of herself to others. She is an RN who has a passion to help, listen and support. She is a mental health educator. When you go to anything she may be teaching or speaking to, she is someone who you could listen to and you would not even once look at the clock to see when she would be finished. She not only helps and listens to the mental health staff/clients but to anyone who is in need. She is the first to jump in and show support for the good or the bad in your life. She truly has a gift and has recently started to do public speaking appearances across Canada. This is her dream. My amazing dreamer is Sandie Volkes-Hommell. No matter where she is or how busy she is there is always time for her friends, co-workers and even the stranger that may sit beside her in the airport. She continues to follow her dreams and I am so glad that a big part of that dream is helping others.

Taking Action

I am that Amazing Dreamer. I am 60 years old and have lived my life unconsciously. I wish I could say I finally woke up and I guess I did but it took a shove over a cliff to get my attention. My job was eliminated. I lay on the couch for 3 months and became a real TV addict. One day I found myself thinking 'Is this all I have to give?' 'Is this all there is for me?' Absolutely not. I hit the internet and my bookshelf for the answers. I found the first step in a teleseminar you did a few weeks ago-I may have heard it on as a delayed recording-but I did embrace the message. I wrote my dreams down, and focused on what was important to me. I want to make money and work with people to live their best lives-hopefully before they are 60 years old. I've enrolled in a Coaching Program and I'm starting my own home business; I'm taking action and I've never felt so energized. I can do this. I can see this happening. There is a big grin on my face.

Searching for a Purpose

'If anyone could make it on pure passion, committment and heart...you could!' I got a call from a college classmate a couple of weeks ago. He asked 3 questions that stopped me short: Are you still acting? Do you just love New York that much? Why don't you just come home? 22 years ago I moved to New York City to become a star. I loved everything there was about 'putting on a show' and I was willing to do anything every day to learn how to do that better. Gradually, needing to be dependable in reality won out over trying to continually mix auditioning with a 'real job'. I'm now over 100 pounds heavier than I was 20 years ago. I practically have a degree in consciousness work and in listening to you on my best friend's show today, I recognize that I have 125 pounds of backed up passion, committment and heart without an outlet that really matters to me. I've been able to get by for a long time because I am still connected to at least one of my purposes. I share knowledge. I'm comfortable speaking with people, I enjoy helping people make connections about themselves and their work/life/process. I've been able to translate that into my daily life, but I've run out of juice. I've been operating on empty for some time. I believe the reason is, my purpose is not plugged 'in' to anything that matters to me. I don't know if this qualifies me as an amazing dreamer, but by sending this email I'm igniting the fire of my intention to devote my passion, committment and heart to finding my dream. With love & gratitude, Christien King

Cookie Lee Dreamer

Hello,
My name is Cindy Arendall, I'm a Independent Cookie Lee Jewelry Consultant. I have never entered myself in a contest before. But, I'm truly living the dream of a lifetime! Since becoming a Cookie Lee Consultant I've be able to quit my full-time job and be the Wife/Mother/Daughter/Sister/Friend I've always wanted to be. But, above all this, my career with Cookie Lee Fine Fashion Jewelry has allowed me the opportunity to help so many wonderful Women start their own business with Cookie Lee too... The best part of the business is seeing others' dreams come true too... I have women tell me all the time I've been dreaming of meeting someone like you someday!
Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to share my story.
Take care and have a wonderful & productive day!

A Dream That Became a Passion

Dear Marcia,

The person that I thought of when I saw your contest is not anyone rich or famous, quite frankly he's just down to earth. It's my nephew, Tim Sutphin. I've had the pleasure of watching him achieve his dream not only once, but twice. Tim is a 40-year old husband and father of two young sons. He lost his own dad to a sudden, massive heart attack about 8 years ago. Tim was very close to his dad and spent a lot of time in the evenings, tooling around in their garage. I believe in the time spent with his dad, he learned more about 'life and love' than working on old cars!
Not long after Tim lost his dad, he was faced with losing his job in the technology field, once again. As a young man who had to work very hard in college to finally get his degree, this was very disappointing to him and scary, I imagine. At that point in Tim's life he began to pursue what most of the family perceived as job change that would provide more security. What I saw, as his 'wiser aunt :)' was a young man embarking on a dream journey. Tim was about to become a police officer! He began to train himself in preparation for the police academy. He'd been a rather large football player in high school and unfortunately most of his rips had turned to flab. He started running, lifting weights and eating healthy. He went on to the academy and actually became the leader of his class. He graduated from the academy and become a county police officer. Tim took his responsibilities as an office extremely seriously. He studied thick manuals and became dedicated to his new position as a defender of the citizens. After several years with his local county police force he continued to be overlooked for promotions. He never complained, just questioned, why not me? After many times of receiving excuses from his captain, he began to pursue a position on his local city police force. Tim had been turned down by them initially, but he decided to give it another shot. He began the interview process and waited patiently for an offer. It finally came and recently he resigned from the county and moved to the smaller, local city police force in the town where he and his family reside.
I would love to see Tim recognized as a dreamer, because in spite of discouragement from his own family to become a police officer, he pursued his dream. He gave up what he studied in college in addition to a huge pay cut to do what he was most passionate about. Tim and his wife, Kelly are great parents and active members of their church. They have proved to those around them that pursuing your dream and passion makes you happier than just earning a decent income. Tim is a sweet man and a genuine listener to anyone he meets. He would be blown away to know that I took time out of my busy schedule to write this bio on him and to recommend him for this contest. My dream is for you to meet him and become his friend...you would surely be blessed by him!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

Mother Helps Children

My mom grew up in West Virginia, child of a coal miner. She loved going to school, even though it was sometimes hard for the family to send her. When she grew up, she began teaching at a school in California, where she uses her ability to find the perfect way for a child to overcome learning difficulties. At 78, she still teaches every day, and cannot imagine a better life for herself.

Almost Giving Up On Dreams

A long time ago, after a heartbreaking experience, I had decided to find “what’s wrong” with the human mind. I was only fifteen, not old enough to recognize that I have set myself up with a task that was deemed impossible.

Nevertheless, that decision had haunted me all my life. I have been looking for some “missing piece” and I have looked anywhere and everywhere. I have collected many valuable insights, but it wasn’t until I reached fifty-five that the 'hidden and missing piece” hit me with full force. I found “what’s right” with not only the human mind, but also with the human body.

Everything fell in the place and the answer was so uncomplicated that at first, I became overwhelmed by its sheer simplicity. I started to give workshops and seminars. They have been very successful - but my marketing skills left a lot to be desired.

More than two years ago, I have completed a manuscript called “Twenty-Four Hours To THE LIFE YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED”. I had it reviewed by about twenty people and the response was heart-warming. My favorite was a passage from Mark Grenier’s review:

“I thought - ok - I’ll read this with a disinterested perspective in order to offer an unbiased opinion… It changed my life - with no effort and no conscious thought on my part I experienced a transformation so gentle, so profound and so liberating that words escape me.”

My dream? To have the book published, to write many more books and do workshops full time, to spread the word…

For some time now, I have been on the verge of “almost giving up”. Thank you for offering the contest. Of course, I would love to win it and I am sure that the experience would be unforgettable, but even if I didn’t win, entering the contest already helped me to re-define what I want and start dreaming again.

Becoming an author on life

“I BELIEVE IN MY DREAMS!”

After 15 years in the Post Office, 3 years on an island in Alaska, and 12 years on an island in Florida, I quit the “safety and security” of a government job to follow my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. I dropped the “golden handcuffs” and created my own career as a private accountant to the elderly on a tropical island called Sanibel. After 4 very successful years with six clients, time to travel around the world, including two months in Australia over the millennium (December vacations were off limits as a Postal Employee!) working only when I chose to, not because I had to, I got the inner message that it was time to help more than six people. So I took another leap of faith and followed my heart to a college campus. For 15 months, I worked on staff at the University of South Florida (USF) Recruitment and Retention Office because “something” pulled me there, and I listened.

While at USF I met a bright young student, Santiana, who encouraged me to write a book about my life and the things I’ve learned. Becoming a published author has been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old and here was my opportunity to begin. What I didn’t expect were all the fears and doubts that have showed up since. Two years ago, I quit my job at USF to again follow my heart. In the process of writing my book, I moved up north, I now own my own home again after 11 years, and, at 48, finally found the love of my life, Patrick….all the while moving through my own self-created barriers about being an author. For the past two years, I have been fully funded, and that alone is the biggest miracle of my life. Up until that point, I had been very practical always holding a job and earning a living. When I learned that following my passion was not going to be logical or practical, I decided to make my own life a science experiment and test this phenomenon. I did, and it’s true, and things are going really well.

My book is nearly complete, and I now realize that I absolutely require coaching to bring it to print. Procrastination, fear, doubt, you name it, are all showing up. Marcia, I know you’ve written many books, and you understand the mind games that go on when one is this close to realizing THE BIG DREAM. Traveling around the world, buying my own home (without a job), and finding Patrick were all easy compared to becoming a published author and public speaker.

My book is called “The Road to Graduation – Secrets to Your Success in College and Beyond”. I am writing the book I wish I had when I was in college, and one that I require reading right now. I am the poster child on how not to do college. Please help me bring it to print. Please coach me into my BIG DREAM. My goal is to educate and inspire college students to find their joy and passion in life through the discovery of their own unique interests and ideas. I take students from the classroom to the real world showing them that how they do college is how they do life. I have so much to share and I’m ready to play BIG. I just need a little nudge. I’m that close.

“Do you know what happened to the man (woman) who suddenly got everything he (she) ever wanted? He (she) lived happily ever after.” --- Willy Wonka, from the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”

Marcia, please help me make my BIGGEST DREAM of being a published author and public speaker come true. I will be eternally grateful! CHOOSE ME!!

Inspired by someone's dream

The most amazing person that I have ever met was nobody famous, although his dream is to be famous someday he never gives up. My ex-boyfriend is an Actor and Singer and loves to have fun and entertain people. He left his day job to be able to audtion for commercials and voiceovers and plays. Even though he does what he can to make ends meet he always has a great attitude about what he wants. He does get little gigs in resturants to sing his Frank Sinatra songs. He doesn't get paid the big bucks but he is doing what he loves. He gets commercials and voiceovers and has been in a few plays. Ronnie never stops trying and even the rejection of some auditions does not get me to stop perusing one of his biggest dreams, entertaining. Even though he has not been discovered yet, he is living his dream. My ex-boyfriend Ronnie Obregon inspires me to persue my dreams and to find what I love and go for it. No matter what ever happened to our relatiionship I will love him forever for that, and because of his possitive outlook I know someday he will make it big and live his ultimate dream. Not only is he living his dream he is very much a part of his community, he works with people trying to raise money for what ever reason they need too. He loves his community and the people in it and they could always count on him for help. It's amazing to see the look of love in his eyes when he tells me he's helping someone raise money for the Senior Center, or Senior Housing, or the Elementry School or whatever it is that needs help. It's such a wonderful thing to know someone who is such an insperation and isn't famous. At least I know and the people of his community know how much of a inspiration he is. My hat is off to Ronnie Obregon.

Dream and follow your heart

I met my friend, Carole, when we were both single moms. Through the events in our lives we decided to share expenses and live together with a total of 7 children. Through the years of friendship and experiences with our kids and families, we developed a system of weaving our dreams through ideas on napkins, mind mapping, scripting, and following the philosophy that thought directs energy through imagination, focus, attraction and action.

Carole has a special gift in writing. By trade she is a Respitory Therapist. Hospital scheduled hours were long, her legs ached at night, she knew she could not 'fire her boss' and become the author her talents meant her to be. The practical advice of her family lay heavy in her heart. We all have people who show their love for us through worry. Carole had a parent who lived through the depression era, aunts and uncles well known in the community - all with expectations for Carole to be a good provider and less a dreamer. She accepted the added pressures of her 'tribe' with one underlying exception: she would continue to dream! To support that commitment she decided to listen for nurturing and uplifting stories through her work in the hospital. She loved the patients, and the staff; but not the stress and the long hours on her feet.

Every day Carole went about her assignments; working with the patients and the staff, giving them a smile and kindness. Once or twice a week she called me to tell me of at least one patient who shared with her a wonderful glimpse of their dreams, passions, and how they followed their heart. Their stories were full of courage, the unknowns, overcoming their fears. They all told Carole how their hearts had led them through their lives to joy and purpose.

Carole decided to go for it! She moved to another state, found a part time job in a smaller, more community minded hospital. She now lives in a sweet little cottage- worry free - just right for her at this time. She finds herself surrounded by new friends who love and appreciate her alternative healing talents (that supplements her part time paycheck) and has found time to walk by the ocean, climb mountain paths and continue dreaming as she observes her dreams coming to fruition.

Carole makes time to write all those stories full of awesome surprises that come to those who follow their heart through 'imagin-action'.

There is a wonderful book in process. It is full of chapters of incredible people who dared to follow their hearts.
Their stories are true. By choice, those storytellers all made a difference in this world.

I am most certain that Carole's book will make a difference to someone who reads it and decides 'I can do this! I can follow MY heart!'

Mother of autistic children

I am my own amazing dreamer. I am the mother of two autistic children and my dream is that both of them to be themselves, not lost in themself.

I do not expect them to be typical. I think too many parents expect their children to be normal. Even if they are not disabled. But I believe in my case I work harder for my dream. Every moment in my life is dedicated to my dream. From working a job focusing on being able to afford to bring them places to train them to various social situations, afford therapy, and to buy them anything that will give them the experiences that they need to build on that will help us to our goal. So much planning and executing on a daily basis that sometimes you think the routines are helping you as much as them. Bringing them to different places while your exhausted and dealing with the public prejudices that you are aware of, all the while hoping that my children will have learned how to act in a situation before they are aware how people think of them. It breaks my heart to hear the hurt from other older autistic children and want the evil of the world not to affect their progress.

I am my own amazing dreamer because this is my soul accepting the responsiblity I have been given. I did not grow up wanting this, the moment I realized something was wrong I was drafted into this war. But the struggle has changed me into a person that I am proud to be. You fight each battle and have to believe that one day the war will be won.

Overcoming addiction

My dream was to live a life pleasing to God. But I lived with a dispair in my life that prevented me from my dream.
At the age of 17 and for 28 years I lived a lonely, silent, despicable, self-inflicted existence. My fear of gaining weight led me to a life of bulimia. This was not a casual addiction it was a lifestyle for me. And over time I reached a point in my life where nothing mattered to me but my two children and my addiction. My relationship with my husband, my family, my friends and even my relationship with God took a backseat to my addiction. Knowing I would never seek outside help or counseling due to my utter shame and embarrassment of letting such an addiction control my life, I instead went to THE great Counselor, 'God Himself'. Dreams and prayers of someday living a life that radiated His glory seemed only a wish I had; and not a hope or a possibility. Yet all along I knew that God IS hope and He knew my true heart was to serve Him; and 'what is impossible with man is possible with God'! He provided a way for me to overcome the addiction I allowed to take away so many years of my life.
In 2003 our pastor did a series of sermons on the 'Seven Deadly Sins'. The last one being 'gluttony' and in my notes from that sermon was... You can try to resist food, but if it is not replaced with something it just won't work.
Well, God had placed an opportunity in my life that was going to be that 'something'. I did not know it at the time but certainly God already knew the success of His plan for me. This Saturday August 5th I will celebrate 20 months of 'not one time', (after 28 years of that addiction having a stronghold on me), have I yielded to the habits of bulimia. Short of the 'dreams' or maybe I should say 'nightmares' I have of still living the life of bulimia (my last one was less than 2 weeks ago); I am otherwise so at peace with that disorder that use to plague my life and future. Now that I have come open with the addiction I lived with for so many years and with it behind me, I can now live a life pleasing to God and see my dream played out serving God in whatever capacity He wills for my life.

Helping sister achieve her dream

My younger sister, Karen, is an inspiration to me because a couple of weeks ago, at the age of 48, she left her home and three cats in Minnesota to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (CIA) school in Napa Valley, California. She is enrolled in the eight month long pastry and baking class, and claims she is one of the oldest students there. As an experienced and prizewinning baker, she has earned dozens of ribbons in the state and local fairs over the years, and has had her recipes featured in cookbooks. But her practical experience didn't seem to count as much as a formal degree when it came to employers. When she repeatedly got turned down for jobs working in the test kitchens or as a culinologist at General Mills (where she's been working in the area of ingredients and labeling), she had the chutpah to check into cooking schools in order to get the background that would help her get the type of job she ideally wanted. My sister's neighbors, friends, and I all help out by feeding her cats and watering her plants while she's gone. Her dedication to really go for her goals is making me re-evaluate my own once exciting dreams that I had given up on years ago.

Motherof the Universe Award

I am proud of my mom because she was always there for me and at age 90 she is still there for me.

Taking a chance with a dream

My amazing dreamer is my husband Rob Lambert. In the late 1980's he decided to circumnavigate the world. He learned to be an expert sailor, navigate celestially, and fix anything on the boat. He took me on a two year circumnavigation adventure of a lifetime through the South Pacific and Australia by boat and then on around the world, backpacking and travelling. He never waivered from his dream. He never considered it would not happen, but lived as if it was certain. He found the time, the resources, and the knowledge to make it real. He found the money to make it real. He truly believed in his vision. I have learned so much from this attitude and I live my vision everyday. We are now on Vision II, building our dream home near a lake, where we will retire!

Dreamer with a huge heart

Rob Cohan has been an amazing dreamer and unsung hero for others for over 50 years. It was not until just before his 50th birthday that he decided to dream something for himself. For 50 years he dreamt and did for others and spent much of his time considering how to support his friends, business associates, and his family, to acheive their goals. After living his entire life since birth within an 8 mile radius he decided to take a leap and live his dream. The day before his 50th birthday he boarded a place to move over 3000 miles to live in Southern California. He is still here after two years and is grateful and proud of himself for taking his life back and making his life truly his own. By the way, he still dreams for others so don't be surprised if you get a call early one Sunday morning and it is Rob Cohan saying, 'I've been thinking of your problem and I have an idea...' Rob is truly a big dreamer with a huge heart!

Dream Life

I became a 'Dreamer' 5 years ago...the 'Amazing' portion of the title I will humbly acknowledge today. THAT in itself is amazing. Like many of us, I had a mixed bag of thoughts about myself. Average looking/pretty, not smart enough/damn bright, loser/winner, etc. Then I had a revelation. At age 50, if I didn't change the way I thought about things or myself, I would be committed to the insanity of contradictory thinking and generally negative self-image the rest of my productive days. I wasn't done yet. In fact, I felt I hadn't even STARTED yet!! In my long daily commute to a job I liked OK (2 ferry boats and a 1/2 mile walk), I started writing my 'Dream Life'. I wrote these lists everyday on the boat for 15 minutes to a 1/2 hour. If I was stuck in a waiting room or bored somewhere, I found some little scrap of paper and would start writing what life would look like if I was 'spinning all my plates' of skills and talents. It really is funny how life will snap, crackle and pop for you when you start creating a dream...a sincere and detailed dream list. Somewhere in my deepest heart, I knew I would be speaking to women one day and making a difference in their lives in some small way, I would be making a good income (more than my fun, but average-paying job at the time), and working from HOME. Physical dreams had to partner with those goals to have the endurance and health to see them through, so I added those too. Fast forward to today. It's almost time to create new dreams, but I am now working from home, am meeting my income goals, and speak in front of women for a living as well as train OTHERS to do the same. I have the time to exercise regularly and am a satisfying weight I have been able to maintain for 3 years. I'm not 'there' yet (there is no 'there', by the way), but at 55 I feel, look and have an enthusiasm for my future that I wish I'd had at 40. Dreaming starts everything, and the best part is that the 'coming true' part happens when YOU'RE AWAKE!!!

Breaking from the cocoon of the job

After years of dreaming about what it would be like to live and work cocooned within passion for “the job,” I finally took a chance.

On a camping trip, as the sun was setting--my favorite time of day--I looked out to the ocean and saw dolphins joyfully playing and peacefully living in the moment. They didn’t seem to be concerned about having to go to work in a cubicle the next day. In that moment, I knew I needed to make my own splash--to dive in to my own passion. I quit the very next day, left my “cube,” and began writing. At first, it was more like journal writing, putting in small bits about myself, but when an editor critiqued it, she said, “As a reader, we want to know more about the main character.” I had never thought of myself as a main character in a book before but without hesitation, I knew she had been the voice of an angel because I had known all along, but was too afraid, that my writing needed to be inspirational, healing, and cathartic for both myself and readers.

I began to chop it up on my PC, but as my fingers clicked away, I watched myself typing, inserting here, deleting there. I felt the presence of angels around me and when I would wonder if all my changes would lose the continuity of the story, I quietly heard, “Trust. Write your story.” When I finished, I read through the entire manuscript and it moved even me. I had never put down the sadness of my journey in one document. I had never faced my true demons and sorrows. With the reality that most of my journey was written with the backdrop of the Middle East, I realized that I was mirroring my oppression with the women of Arabia, as well as comparing my life to that of a desolate and hostile desert--until I found my oasis. I had been searching for self-worth, acceptance, and an understanding of a God who I was raised to fear by constantly being told I was an abomination to God and would rot in eternal hell. In writing, I found what I thought was lost… my soul.

Just as my book was ready for the print shop, I had to have a second open-heart surgery to again replace a leaky valve. It was as if my body was letting me know that I was soon going to have yet another “new” heart to begin the next stage of my life. Plus, I was just about to turn 50!! What a time to change careers and take such a risk--but I felt driven.

I self-published my book, Circles in the Sand, and began to be my own marketer [“they” don’t tell you that writing is the easy part]. I did a few book readings and suddenly, I had a much deeper spiritual understanding of why I felt so moved to write. Women would come up to me after a reading and literally weep, saying “Thank you for being a leader and being brave to write your truth. Your story is ours and your voice is the voice for women who are still unable to have their own.” The humbleness and gratitude to touch lives have fuelled my passion. The emotional connections taking place replaced my fear of exposing myself--a sense of standing naked in front of the world. I was not only comforted and honoured to understand that mine was a story that resonated with many women, but in seeing such visceral responses, I realized just how far I had come in healing and forgiving. I was left speechless, almost telepathically speaking with my angels, thanking them for being with me every step of the way.

Being self-published has meant that my book is slowly, slowly reaching people. I find myself constantly having to go to a place of meditation and surrender my fears and get back to a place of belief. The following words keep repeating in my heart-space and in fact, they are what made me literally jump off the couch from a moment of feeling myself going back to my old patterns of fear—If I can touch one soul, I can touch one million… and then I opened up your e-zine asking for stories on being an amazing dreamer.

I AM are the strongest words to define who we choose to be. Rather than “I am afraid” or “I am not successful” or “I am never going to get this book to a global platform,” I have chosen to keep believing and keep changing those old recorded messages… I AM an Amazing Dreamer!

Amazing Dreamers: Rob Lambert circumnavigated the world

Amazing Dreamers: Rob Cohan taking his life back and making it his own...

After living his entire life since birth within an 8 mile radius, he decided to take a leap and live his dream.

Amazing Dreamers: Mother of the Universe

I am proud of my mom because she was always there for me and at age 90 she is still there for me.

She always listened when I had a problem…never judging…guiding and supporting every moment of the way.

Held me when I needed comforting into my 20’s.

Told me I was beautiful and that I could do anything I put my mind to.
Told me to be different…that was a good thing!
Told me that I was equal to everyone and not to take a back seat to anyone.

She taught me to stand up for myself…by confronting a neighbor’s mom who’s daughter was calling Mary-Margaret and me names.

An outstanding role model….always helping older people like Mrs. Ion and Mrs. Beckett, by taking them dinners before we sat down to eat. Buying hedge clippers to cut Mrs. Becketts hedge.

She looked after my grandmother in our house when she was dying of cancer.
She went every night to my grandfather’s house to make sure he was ok and got to bed.

She is a Survivor…life with Daddy was a challenge at times.

Her goal in life was to keep balance and harmony in her families lives.

Hard work will not hurt you…she worked 7 days a week at the Imperial System of Baking…where I learned from example the highest level of customer service and I adapted this into my work ethics. She worked hard all her life and taught me to enjoyed life.

We always took vacations…flying to Scotland BOAC in 1960…she helped me to appreciate travel and adapting to different cultures.

I always thought she was beautiful and wished that I would look like her when I grew up.

Your legacy will live on in your children and grandchildren.

There will be a special place in heaven for my mom.

If there was a Mother of the Universe Award…she would be given this special recognition.

My mom is an amazing dreamer and she taught me how to dream.
